Leafy Bean Co. (Gifted, AD)

Hello Readers,

I would like to say thank you again to Leafy Bean Co. for sending me this wonderful box of tea in exchange for an honest review.

So now that all the official stuff is out the way let’s get into the tea. If you saw my unboxing video on Instagram you know that I am slightly crushing on the monkey logo. I was also thinking about how I could make this post a little more exciting so I paired the teas up with a book.

Pure Content-mint

I have paired pure content-mint with Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik why I hear you cry because peppermint tea and snow got together fight me. I paired them together because peppermint teas cooling effect is a perfect companion to a book half set in a snowy realm.  This is currently my favourite peppermint tea and doesn’t need the spoonful of honey stirred in and for you people who know your tea, it is half Chinese Pinhead Gunpowder green tea.

Tea’s the Season

I have paired Tea’s the season with The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis sorry if you thought I would pick The Grinch by Dr Seuss. I tend to reread The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe around Christmas or watch the films. This is pretty tea bah as you can see real fruit piece, they are infusing the tea with. This tea is lush if you like cinnamon and love festive drinks without the cloves taste being too over powering.

Duke of Earl Grey

I have paired Duke of Earl Grey with the Cursebreakers Series by Brigid Kemmerer. Firstly, for the name play and secondly nothing speaks Early Grey like a Beauty and The Beast retelling. I will be honest Earl Grey is one of the teas I can be hit or miss with but this one even though it’s a black tea it had a slight zing which as a pleasant surprise. I can now say I like Earl Grey tea.

Berry Nice Indeed

I have paired Berry nice indeed with A Pocketful of Stars by Aisha Bushby for two reasons one because look how pretty they are together and secondly berry tea is good for my soul as I think berry tea is a little playful. There is something about a good berry tea that makes me feel so wholesome and this tea is one of the good ones.

Go Green

I have paired Go Green with A skinful of Shadows by Frances Hardinge because once again they are aesthetically pleasing together and because a calming green tea would be the perfect partner to A skinful of Shadows. Maybe I am just unlucky with green teas but this is one of the first green teas I have has that doesn’t taste overly “earthy” but instead a refreshing green tea taste.
