Hello Readers,
Thank you Lauren at Where There's Ink There's Paper for tagging me in the mango book tag. It’s been a while since I’ve done a book tag so I thought I would give one ago. If anyone else would like to take part I have the questions at the bottom of this post so its easier to copy and paste in.
Raw Mango: Your most anticipated release.
I honestly cannot wait for July to get my hands on Juno Dawson’s new book Her Majesty's Royal Coven. The Premise is amazing a “story of ancient prophecies and modern dating, of sacred sisterhood and demonic frenemies.” Tell me you don’t want to read it too. I know you didn’t ask but yes, I have pre-ordered the Waterstone hardback with the yellow sprayed edges.
Banganapalli: Longest book on your TBR.
I don’t think these counts as I have already read them, but I do have all the house of night books by P.C and Kirsten Cast back on my TBR list. I haven’t read them fully as an adult yet and I think I need to.
Alphonso: A hyped book you love.
A curse so dark and lonely by Brigid Kemmerer, I know it’s been out for a couple of years, but I can still remember the excitement and the hype around this book, and it didn’t disappoint.
Totapuri: A book with a green or yellow cover.
They both Die in the end by Adam Silvera. Apparently, I don’t own that many yellow books and I think I’m slightly cheating is slightly more orange but shhhh.
Neelam: A rainy day book recommendation.
For me, a rainy-day book is a good book to snuggle up with, so I am going to recommend Horseman by Christina Henry. Horseman is a Sleepy Hollow sequel.
Mango Pickle: A book that makes you feel nostalgic.
I would say the house of night books, but I’ve already used them so I’m going to say Reaper man by Sir Terry Pratchett. In fact, any book by Sir Terry makes me feel nostalgic.
Mango Kulfi: A feel-good book recommendation.
Cinderella
is Dead I really enjoyed the premise of this book and its such feel good book.
Imagine a world where instead of any holy literature there is the tale of
Cinderella, her Prince Charming and horrible stepmother, and stepsisters. What
if that tale is now law?
Thank you again Lauren for the tag. If you would like to
join the tag, consider yourself tagged. Here’s the questions.
