What I’ve Been Watching on Disney+

Hello Readers,

I thought I would share with you what I have been watching on Disney+ and I will also mentioning some little gems I have found. I am using poster images I have found through google I do not own any rights and am using the image purely for future review purposes (Fair use under the copyright act sections 29 and 30 under use for a review). Get ready for the nostalgia

Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers

I don’t want to say this a modern Who Framed Roger Rabbit but it’s kind of is. Just like Who Framed Roger Rabbit the character we love know they are from movie and tv and it was honestly so great to see some much-loved characters again. This is a live-action reboot in a complicated way as Chip is still the orginal 90s hand-drawn version, Dale has got “CGI surgery.”  I loved how the movie includes the different eras and recognisable styles of animation and cameos upon cameos KEEP your eyes open. You guys are not ready to meet Sweet Pete that is all.

Encanto

I’m sure pretty much everyone knows about Encanto or at least heard “We don’t talk about Bruno”. There is something about this feel-good family film that keeps me coming back to rewatch it repeatedly. I like that there is no villain in this movie, just a vague “unknown” threatening the family and their home. One thing that I will say is the story is beautiful there is something even after rewatches about Alma and Abuela story that still packs a punch.

Ducktales

I am not ashamed to say I have seen every episode of Ducktales both from the orginal and new series. I must give a shout out to still having a killer opening theme tune. One thing I will say is that I think the reboot is possibly much funnier than the orginal. This reboot has rediscovered the old magic of Disney while this reboot is a little experimental it still manages to be true to the source material.

Ron’s gone Wrong

I love this film I will review it fully, but this film genuinely had been crying with laughter. This is one of my feel-good films I now watch on days when I start to get the big sad. One thing I will say is forcing children to sit on a “buddy bench” during recess is cruel. Sorry not sorry I said it. I love the message that is behind Ron’s gone Wrong and worth a watch.

Cruella

Who doesn’t love a villainess origin story? When this film came out, I was shamefully judgmental and a little vocal about how much I wasn’t going to like it. Well in came Emma Stone and got me to shut up and sit down. Cruella is a great origin story, and you can see how and why she turned into well Cruella De Vil. Both Emma Thompson and Emma Stone are stunning in the film and the SASS these two Queens deliver in this film is amazing.
