Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Review

Hello Readers,

I loved this game so much and I just had to share it with you. I wouldn’t say I am the best Star Wars fan as I need to watch Solo still, but I really enjoyed this game and being able to properly explore worlds I grew up seeing. I am using a cover image I have found through google (Fair use under the copyright act sections 29 and 30 under use for a review).

I need a BD-1 that’s it that’s my review all done.

The combat system is enjoyable. Well-timed parries are your best friend, but dodges and blocks are a godsend at times.  While heavy attacks and force powers add depth and creativity into the mix. I have a confession I am a slight petty bitch who kept using the Force push to launch Storm Troopers off the side of the cliff. Most of the puzzles are simple but fun although one or two were tricky enough to make me get stuck for a little and I had to google one solution.

As someone who has arachnophobia, I could have really done without going to the Wookie home world of Kashyyyk. BUT I have just found out the game has an arachnophobia mode and now I feel really dumb. I don’t know if its just for the new game survivor but here is what Game Rant says “To remove spiders from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, go to the Options menu, open the Accessibility tab, and toggle the “Arachnophobia Safe Mode.”. I might just be having a moment and cant find it. Other than the Spiders Kashyyyk is one of the most beautiful maps I have explored in a game yes, I know dear Readers that’s to me not playing a game from the last 10 years.

The adventurous crew of the Mantis spaceship is full of heart, but as the story and everyone’s arc is reveal it elevates the crew’s relationships Greez comes into his own and Cere has her own painful past to deal with. You can see the crew’s loyalties and see how their friendship develops to create a dramatic, finale.

In the game you gather lightsaber parts, skins for BD-1, your ship, and Cal’s outfit. The lightsaber is pretty much fully custom as you can change the emitter, the switch, the sheath, the hilt, and the material along with the blade colour (Team purple for Mace Windu). It allows for a degree of customisation that makes that game yours.

I will say I can see the games ending being a little marmite, personally I liked the game ending, and it would be the choice that I would like to think I would make. That was hard without spoilers.
