Hello Readers,
Haunted Hotel on Netflix is a surprisingly funny and
occasionally light-hearted animated series that blends spooky charm with witty
humour. I’ll be honest I originally put this on as background noise, but I soon
put the book down and binged the entire season in one go.

The show’s strength lies in its colourful and surreal cast
of characters, each with their own quirks that never feel overdone. From the
mischievous Abbadon, whose mix of demonic energy and childlike enthusiasm
steals almost every scene, to the endless array of ghosts and monsters haunting
the hotel, every episode offers something new and hilarious.
What really works is the show’s balance of tone it’s
spooky enough to fit the Halloween mood, but never grim or heavy. The humour
feels organic, and even when things get dark, it never loses its heart. The
animation is expressive and vibrant, capturing both the eerie atmosphere and
the warmth of the characters’ interactions.
The writing is sharp, the voice acting top-notch, and the
world-building is creative. The first season of Haunted Hotel sets the stage
for something special and I really cant wait to see if we get a second season.
Witty, weird, and wonderfully absurd, Netflix’s Haunted
Hotel is a must-watch for fans of spooky fun, creative animation, and
supernatural sitcoms.
