Crown of Crimson and Crows by Tessa Hale

Hello Readers
Four dangerous vampire kings, one sassy heroine, fated mates, and enemies-to-lovers tension wrapped up in a world full of witches, demons, and ancient magic? Yeah, sign me up right now.

Quick heads-up: this is a spicy book, I'm not going to focus on the spice since spice is subjective.

Tessa Hale’s first foray into vampire romance had me completely hooked from page one. If you’re hunting for a why choose paranormal romance featuring royal vampires, slow-burn tension, and characters who will literally have you yelling at your book, this definitely needs a spot on your TBR.

We follow Rae, who has been living a quiet life in the human world studying botany, completely clueless about the magic waiting inside her. When her powers finally awaken, her entire world flips upside down, tying her destiny to four very different vampire heroes. With enemy kingdoms, complicated fated bonds, and the looming threat of war, there is never a dull moment.

And Rae? I loved her so much. She's a fantastic, sassy heroine who won't take any nonsense from the men around her, and her banter with Rhys had me laughing out loud. Kian brought warmth to the story, while Nyx’s cold, mysterious vibe had me so damn curious. And Torrin… Please give me more of him.

What stood out most to me was how unique each of the guys felt. They all have completely different personalities, motivations, and messy feelings about their bond with Rae. The romantic tension is delicious, the political intrigue is fascinating, and it all makes this fantasy romance so hard to put down. Plus, the world-building is intricate without ever feeling overbearing to read.

This is the first book in a trilogy, this is an absolute must-read if you love vampire romantasy, why choose romance, fated mates, enemies-to-lovers dynamics, and powerful heroines.

Stay Spooky
