Hello Readers,
If you love your paranormal romance with a healthy dose of humour, ridiculous vampires, witchy shenanigans, and enough yearning to make you want to scream into a pillow, then this series is for you. Jenna Levine is back with the third book in the My Vampires series, and honestly, I think this might be my favourite one yet.
Quick heads-up: this is a spicy book, I'm not going to focus on the spice since spice is subjective.
I completely fell in love with Zelda and Peter. Zelda is such a relatable, lovable character, and I really connected with her journey of healing and facing her past. Peter is equally brilliant especially when it comes to the sheer mountain of yearning he manages to squeeze into literally every interaction. Their chemistry is fantastic, leaning into a delicious slow-burn romance, forced proximity, and emotional tension that kept me turning pages way too late. And when the grovelling finally happens? Absolute perfection. I also loved how genuinely Peter listened to Zelda and respected her boundaries.
Jenna Levine kept all the best parts of the previous books like the wonderfully awkward vampire humour and quirky secondary characters while bringing a witch into the mix and ramping up the mystery. The road trip format was a total highlight for me, giving me so many laugh-out-loud moments alongside the actual adventure.
Funny, magical, swoony, and full of great twists, this witch and vampire romance is a stellar addition to the series. If you enjoy fantasy romance, paranormal romance books, slow-burn love stories, enemies-to-lovers vibes, and quirky supernatural adventures, I can't recommend this one enough.
