Miniature Review
I don’t think it’s a big secret Readers, that I love a hidden world within our own. So, this book was right up my street.
A Market of Dreams and Destiny has a unique story and wonderful read stuffed to the brim with brilliant writing, world-building, and vivid characters. With the themes of true love, friendship, betrayals, and villainous mischief running throughout. There is honestly so much contained in this books pages if you fancy market politics, magic deals, and mysterious plots this book is for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it was nice to have another fantasy book that isn’t purely romanced based and where the fantasy elements aren’t a second thought. The love story is adorable, as Deri and Owain try to work out how interested the other is and I am a sucker for it. The romance element runs throughout the story and was enjoyable and didn’t completely dominate the plot.
This is definitely a book I can see myself rereading and I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to return to the Untermark.
